海獣公園にいるアザラシさんとトドさんには、ご飯の魚を買ってあげることが出来ます。
魚をあげようと準備してると、アザラシさんやトドさんが寄ってくるのはもちろん、カモメさんも大群で寄ってきます。
ぶっちゃけ、カモメさんのほうが多いです(笑)
魚を持ったまま「誰にあげよっかなー？」なんてうかうかしてるとカモメさんに魚を強奪されますので、ご注意を。

本館を出て海岸にへ行くと、トドやアザラシなどがいる海獣公園があります。
海水や潮風で錆びついた鉄柵のゴツゴツした雰囲気がとてもいい味になっています。

海に突き出した岩場に作られたジャンプ台からトドが飛び込みます。
お客さんの目の前まで来て逆立ちや拍手などもしてくれます。
秋になると期間限定で、トドが鮭を丸飲みして食べる様子を見ることもできます。

海獣公園のペンギンプールを出発して、海まで散歩していきます。
おたる水族館は海岸にあり、自然の海と柵で区切っているだけですので、ペンギン達は本当の海に入って泳ぎます。
自然の魚も入ってくるので、ペンギンが魚を追い掛けて捕獲する様子を見られる時もあります。
